The history of the brand began 10 years ago. The family’s second child had just been born and I stopped my professional activity at the time to be with my children. As time went by I realized that I didn’t want to go back and I got the strength to make my dream come true. Reluctantly at first. I started decorating sandals with pieces of leather and people would stop me on the street and ask me where I got them. That was it, I took courage and started with a Facebook page. At the same time I learned to make sandals next to a cobbler and a little later I studied at the shoemaking school.
Aelia was slowly completed. After sandals came the first closed shoes and boots. Over the years it grew with us. The shop on the etsy platform and exports all over the world followed. In the meantime, the eshop was also completed.
It is at a point where I am very happy, we have created a very nice team. We have many plans, people love us and trust us.
Ideally I would like to retain all my moral values for Aelia. Sustainable fashion, products that last longer, which can be fashionable and at the same time can stay in your wardrobe for a long time. Less waste, custom made products, which means manufacturing according to customer needs, no extra stock, natural materials. As long as I can, I want to keep the product full made in Greece. Ideally, I would also like to create a small collection that can be placed in stores, so they are accessible in all parts of Greece and abroad.
